1.Plan a timetable together
Sit with the kids and agree on timetable of when to read, and when to play. Always follow up to see if its working and be ready to adjust if its not.
2.Keep in touch with their school
Alot of schools have rolled out elearning programs, or Zoom lessons. Always keep in touch with their school to see if such arrangements are in place. In addition ask advice from their teachers to know what books or online programs are recommended for them.
3.Use time tactic for them to adapt
Kids have a short attention span, so make sure to start with short exercises or online lessons from 10 minutes, and ease them slowly to longer sessions of 30minutes, as they adapt to the new ways of learning. In addition, keep kids busy with chores to help them develop life skills.
